Bettina Weiß-Schichold

has been the first point of contact at Apenberg & Partner since June 2008 as assistant to the management and office manager. She finds the right person to talk to and is happy to help with questions and provide information material. She is also in charge of the press and marketing departments.

Previously, she worked as an assistant in the agency sector and has a degree in fashion design as well as many years of professional, training and management experience in flight attendant services in civil passenger aviation.

Michael Apenberg

has been advising companies in the media and printing industry since 1987 and is one of the leading management consultants in the industry. Previously, he spent 13 years in various management positions in sales and marketing at Agfa-Gevaert AG, Graphic Division, Leverkusen/Antwerp.

Together with Dr Klaus von Dohnanyi (Chairman), Michael Apenberg was on the Supervisory Board of a:prico AG, Hamburg (until 30 August 2008). Since March 2015, Mr Michael Apenberg has been a member of the Advisory Board of Beltz Rübelmann Holding GmbH & Co. KG and a member of the board of trustees of the Beltz Rübelmann Foundation.

Main areas of consultancy: Strategy, restructuring and reorganisation, marketing, sales, executive search, corporate succession, mergers & acquisitions, supervisory and advisory board mandates.

Dr. Johannes Warther

Senior Consultant and joined the Apenberg & Partner team in November 2016.

He studied economics at LMU Munich and then focused on strategic management at the University of Bath, UK. With his PhD, he specialised in strategic realignment and restructuring.

Yorck Wittkuhn

Junior Consultant and a member of the Apenberg & Partner team since July 2021. In February 2021, he completed his degree in business administration at the University of Greifswald.

Thanks to his major in "Quantitative Finance and Risk Management", "International Business Administration" and "Money and Currency", he has the right theoretical tools. He gained his first practical experience during his studies at the IMB Group, which facilitated his entry into the project business at Apenberg & Partner.

Dr. Till Tolkemitt

holds a degree in economics and started his career in 1997 at Apenberg & Partner.

In addition to positions at the Boston Consulting Group and as Managing Director of the media retailer Zweitausendeins, he founded a venture capital-funded internet start-up with offices in Hamburg and London and also operated two small book publishing houses. In parallel, he has continuously worked as a senior advisor for Apenberg & Partner and in a variety of M&A projects.

Reimar Wittstock

is a trained offset printer and graduate engineer in the field of communication technology/printing and has worked for Apenberg & Partner as a freelance senior consultant in the course of technology and production-related strategy projects since 2007.

In 2014, he also founded Modular Software Solutions GmbH, with software for production planning and control in newspaper printing plants. Previously, he was product manager at Ewert Ahrensburg Electronic GmbH and Hell Gravure Systems GmbH & Co. KG.

Main areas of consultancy: Printing technologies, process analysis and optimisation, IT project management and printing system integration, including the introduction of workflow systems and database solutions for production planning and control/organisation.

Verena Gorris

is a marketing and communications professional and has worked for Apenberg & Partner on and off since October 2017. With her professional expertise, she supports client projects with a focus on PR and communication and actively contributes to Apenberg & Partner's own PR activities.

As a freelancer, Verena Gorris has been working for renowned agencies and branded companies for many years, including SCHOLZ & FRIENDS, achtung! Kommunikation, Lemonaid & ChariTea and Beiersdorf AG.

Martin Cichy

holds a degree in business administration with a focus on economic research and statistics and has worked for Apenberg & Partner as a print business analyst in corporate strategy and M&A projects since 2012.

In addition, he has many years of professional experience as an honorary lecturer in the context of IHK advanced training courses for certified business, industrial and commercial specialists.

Main focus: Controlling, mathematical statistics and company valuations, evaluation of survey analyses, market research, desk research and reporting.
