The fact that everything will be different in 2020 is also reflected in the results of this year's Print Business Autumn Forecast: although a negative market development is expected by the majority, the expectations of the printing industry for 2021 are slightly more optimistic than a year ago. But while in 2019 it was the small printers who were particularly pessimistic about the future, in Corona Year No. 1 it is the large printing companies who rule out a recovery in the market.

The year 2019 is drawing to a close and thus many players in the print industry are asking themselves what went well this year and what they should do differently in the future. Yet this knowledge is also vital for the competitiveness, thus the future viability, of all printers, regardless of whether they make their money with web offset, sheetfed offset, digital printing or any combination of the three.
